Professionals working in clinical, insurance, and legal settings are often required to produce reports that may be reviewed by insurers, legal counsel, regulatory bodies, or other decision-makers.

In these contexts, clarity, structure, and defensibility are essential.

This one-hour webinar introduces a structured approach to writing reports that withstand scrutiny. Participants will examine the elements that support defensible professional opinions and will learn a clear process for evaluating and responding to challenged reports through rebuttal.

The session is designed for clinicians and consultants who are already familiar with professional report writing and want to strengthen reasoning, transparency, and professional boundaries in higher-stakes environments.

This session will cover:

1. What Makes a Report Defensible

2. Common Threats to Defensibility

  • Frequent reasoning and documentation errors

  • Risks that increase vulnerability under scrutiny

3. The Role of a Rebuttal

  • When a rebuttal is appropriate

4. A Structured Rebuttal Process

  • Evaluating the original report

  • Organizing a clear and defensible response
